Prestige Screen This is WellCare’s most popular screen and over the last 25 years we have adapted it to include the latest tests available to assist in assessing your general health and wellbeing. During your time with the doctor you will be able to discuss specific concerns you may have and under go a physical examination including breast or testicular examination and instruction in self examination. The screen includes a resting ECG to check the electrical activity of your heart muscle. If you are over 40 we also include a faecal occult blood test to check for bowel cancer. For women the screen includes an HPV test along with a ThinPrep cervical smear to detect if you have the virus that can go onto cause cervical cancer. For men we measure your testosterone level as well as doing a prostate profile for prostate cancer. This screen is particularly suitable for men and women over 40. Please allow up to two hours for the completion of your Prestige Screen.
